JASJAR
My Rogers sim card works in the JASJAR.. That's good news. It's a European device (it came with a power adapter) so I didn't know if the phone network here would be happy with it, but it is.
They demoed Avalon running on it. It's got a half a gigahertz CPU in it, which is pretty good for a device this small, and a 640x480 screen. This might be a good excuse to get some Avalon experience.
I did a hands-on lab yesterday with Tablet PC development in C#, and they gave me a Wacom Graphire tablet. Like the JASJAR, this is another device I'd been wanting to buy myself "someday". It's been a good day for toys.
I wanted to go to the Java / .NET BOF yesterday, but there's just too much going on here to stay on top of everything.
