Adobe Tech Summit

I've been in San Jose for an internal Adobe event this week. The event was the Adobe Tech Summit - it's like a PDC for Adobe developers.

I've never been to a developer conference for internal developers only, so this was a new thing for me. To me it was better than the PDC in a lot of ways.

For example, you can walk up to anyone there and ask them what they work on, compare notes on what UI libraries you're using, or talk about the stock price. It's 1000+ people you have something in common with, compared to the PDC where the only commonality is something you share with a few million other developers.

We had some great speakers in too - James Gosling and Tim O'Reilly for example. Tim's a great speaker and he was right on with where we're going.

Unfortunately I can't talk about any of the cool stuff we've been learning about for the last 3 days. But it was cool. :)
