Google Pages
Another new Google toy: Google Pages.
Looks like a good way for somebody with absolutely no web experience to publish some stuff… And if you’ve got a gmail account, there’s no setting up to do, you just go start editing.
Unfortunately since someone got stevex@gmail.com before me, my page has to be at http://xsteve.googlepages.com. Which means I probably wouldn’t use it.
Also since your URL is tied to your email address, it means that anyone with a page has published their email address. Privacy doesn’t seem to be one of Google’s concerns.
