Still no HDTV capture
I don't really know how this is going to play out, but it's obvious that the world is slowly moving to HDTV, and it's also obvious that keeping people from recording HDTV is a goal of the content producers.
Boxes that output HDTV won't output an unencrypted digital signal, so there's no support in something like Windows Media Center or MythTV for HDTV coming from something like a StarChoice box.
I want a capture card that will accept HD component video input. (But it's going to need to compress all that data in real time.. that's the hard part).
