Volume Shadow Copy Service
Here’s something I didn’t know about: the Windows Server 2003 Volume Shadow Copy service. I knew NTFS supported this, but I didn’t know it’d made it all the way out to the GUI.
I’ve had Google Desktop Search save my bacon the way the VSC service promises to (since it keeps it’s own cache of what you change), and GDS works on WinXP, so it’s actually more useful to most people.
