MSN Messenger: What’s New
Release Notes used to be a normal part of a new software release. Users could see what's new, what's changed.
MSN Messenger has a "What's New" button on the dialog that tells you there's a new version, and long ago, they used to actually tell you what's new.
Over the last few updates the information has been becoming less useful, with just notes like "Security updates" and "New features".
Now pressing that button just takes you to the download page. You want to know what's new? Download it and figure it out yourself.
Too bad.. I liked reading release notes - it gave me an idea of where to look to find the cool new stuff.
