Google Ads
I put a Google ad on my weblog, mostly to see what kind of stuff they would advertise on my page. The ads that Google picks to put on the Restaurant Thing site are interesting - because each restaurant's page has different content, often related to the type of food served at the restaurant, the ads you see on an ad for an Indian restaurant are usually quite different than the ads for a Tex-Mex restaurant.
So far the ads on my weblog are mostly for blogging tools.
