Flash RichTextEditor

Flex 2 includes a RichTextEditor control.

This is going to be big. It means that we'll have a cross-platform rich text editor available in the browser.

Combine this with the new Flash runtime's ability to make simple calls between the browser host and the Flash runtime, and you've got an easy replacement for the JavaScript based editors.

It doesn't have all the features of something like FreeTextBox, but it's got the basic stuff that people need, and it's far less likely that you'll run into the compatibility problems that are so common with the JavaScript editors - if the browser can run Flash, it can use the editor.
