Hi Steve - this isn’t a comment on this post, but I don’t see a method for asking a question when there has been no related post… sorry for messing up the organization.
In your previous blog, you mentioned that you had tried to write a tool which would migrate the Ratings from WMP to iTunes. I read the thread, and you seem to be saying that there’s no way to get iTunes to read the new ratings values that you’ve written to it’s XML db?
Is this true? Is there simply no way to migrate the Ratings? I have almost 10K songs (although only 1K are rated so far but I’d hate to lose what I’ve done so far.
Feel free to write me directly, if you don’t want to discuss this in this thread; or feel free to post about it again :-).
Hey Joe - looks like I forgot to put my email address on the new digs.. I’ll do that now. I’ll also post on this since it’s something other folks might be interested in as well, thanks for the reminder.
