Another book, even older, and better is "One Minute Designer" http://www.amazon.com/Roger-Parkers-One-Minute-Designer/dp/1558285938 In fact I'd say if you don't buy and read it, you're doing yourself a disservice, it's still the best design book I've ever read, maybe because of my short attention span and it's format that anything it teaches you fits on 1 page.
