XBox 360 Connects to Windows Media Center Edition in VMWare
I mentioned that I was going to install Windows XP Media Center Edition in a VM to see if I could stream videos to the XBox that way, and it works!
Not as well as I'd like it to - for some reason the XBox 360 can't see the network folder that I have my video files on; it can see some network folders, but others just don't show up.
But now I'm considering getting a new PC and setting it up as a media center (including with a tuner for capturing video) just so I can control the whole experience (TV guide, music, photos, games) from one remote control and with one HD video output.
